Contemplating a PC Market Without I.B.M.
Why does the Big Daddy of the Computer Industry wants to withdraw from a market it originally founded? IBM feels its not as profitalbe and does not promise enough growth. Besides, it is betting on centralized computing services like thin clients as opposed to individual PCs, and this move sure shows a commitment to distributed computing.
